Interphase is the stage prior to mitosis. A cell spends most of its life in interphase. During this stage, the cell replicates its DNA in preparation of mitosis. All the requirements before mitosis are carried out at this stage by the cell. The cell acquires nutrients, creates and uses proteins required for mitosis in which the parent cell divides to produce two identical daughter cells. Then the cell will enter mitosis which consists of four stages known as prophase, metaphase, anaphase, and telophase.
So, interphase is not a part of mitosis.
