The correct option is A $500 m$
Given : $h = 490 m$
Horizontal velocity $u = 180 k m / h = 180 \times \frac{5}{18} = 50 m / s$
Time of flight $T = \sqrt{\frac{2 h}{g}} = \sqrt{\frac{2 \times 490}{9.8}} = 10 s$
Horizontal distance $R = u T = 50 \times 10 = 500 m$
