The correct option is C $$4$$

Capacitance of parallel plate capacitor with air ,$$C_a=\dfrac{\varepsilon _{0}A}{d}    ....(1)$$

Capacitance of parallel plate capacitor with wax ,$$C_w=\dfrac{K\varepsilon _{0}A}{2d}  .....(2)$$

$$(1)/(2),$$

$$ \dfrac{C_a}{C_w}=\dfrac{2}{K}$$

$$\dfrac{1}{2}=\dfrac{2}{K}$$

$$\therefore K=4$$
