Solution

The correct option is A $$0.23 ms^{-2}$$
Using equation of motion $$v^2-u^2=2as$$, where $$u=0,\ v=85kmh^{-1}=23.6m/s$$
$$\Rightarrow 23.6\times23.6=2\times a\times1200$$
$$\Rightarrow a=\dfrac {23.6\times23.6}{2\times1200}=0.23ms^{-2}$$
