  1. The current will be clockwise.
  2. No current will be induced.
  3. The current will be anticlockwise.
  4. The current will change direction as the electron passes by.

The correct option is D The current will change direction as the electron passes by.
If electron is moving from left to right, the flux linked with the loop (which is into the page) will first increase and then decrease as the electron passes by. So the induced current in the loop will be first anticlockwise and will change direction as the electron passes by.
