The magnitude of gravitational field intensity at origin will be the sum of gravitational
field intensity due to each mass m = 1 Kg,
So, intensity (I)=Gm(1r21+1r22+1r23...)
Now putting r1=1,r2=2,r3=4 and so on and m = 1
We get
I=G(112+122+142...)
Since it is a GP, so by using formula for sum of GP
We get,
I=G(11122)|
I=4G3
