Solution

Given,
height of the object hi= 3cm
object distance u= -10cm
focal length f= -20cm
NOW,

Step 1: Finding distance of the image:
According to Mirror formula,
1/f=1/u + 1/v

1/v=1/f − 1/u

1/v=1/(−20) − 1/(−10)

1/v=(−1+2)/20=1/20
v = 20cm
Step 2: Hight of image:

Magnification is ratio of height of image with respect to height of an object.

m=−v/u=hi/h0

−20/(−10) = hi/3cm

⟹hi=6cm

Nature:- Virtual (as image distance is on the right side of mirror)
