i) mass, and (ii) weight, on the moon ?
(g on moon = 1.6m/s2).

Solution

Given : Mass on earth m = 20 kg

Gravity acceleration g = 1.6 m/s^2

(i)  Mass on moon = 20 kg since mass is a constant quantity

(ii) Weight on the moon W = mg

= 20 × 1.6 = 32 N
