Solution

In case of convex lens, an image of same size as object is formed when object is placed at 2f. If convex lens is replaced by concave lens of same focal length, the image will be formed between optical centre and focus. Thus formed image will be virtual, erect and diminished. [ in case of concave lens, image is formed between optical center and focus when object is placed anywhere between optical centre and infinity]
