Question

Arrange CO2,H2O and H2O2 in decreasing order of acidic nature.

Open in App
Solution

The decreasing order of acidity is
CO2>H2O2>H2O
The reason is CO2 is a stronger acid than H2O2 since it liberates H2O2 from BaO2. Water, of course, is a weaker acid than H2O2.
