Glaciers store the maximum percentage of freshwater followed by rivers.
Rivers originate from glaciers and when they flow, the roots of trees and soil cause seepage of water underground resulting in aquifers. Ground water is water found in underground which carries less freshwater than rivers but more than atmospheric water, which is present mostly in vapour form.
