Solution

We shall represent the given numbers with positive denominators.
35,710,1115,1320.

By multiplying both numerator and denominator by 1 we get, 35=3×15×1=35

Now let's take the LCM of 5,10,15,20 i.e. 60

By multiplying both numerator and denominator by 12 we get, 35=3×125×12=3660

By multiplying both numerator and denominator by 6 we get, 710=7×610×6=4260

By multiplying both numerator and denominator by 4 we get 1115=11×415×4=4460

By multiplying both numerator and denominator by 3 we get, 1320=13×320×3=3960

Clearly by comparing the numerators i.e. 44<42<39<36

4460<4260<3960<3660 i.e. 1115<710<1320<35.
