As we see, AOC and BOC have a common vertex O. So, a and b are adjacent angles
And OB and OA are opposite rays.
So, a and b are linear pair that means their sum is 180.
But, adjacent angles does not necessarily add up to give 180, it can give any sum.
So, reason is not correct explanation.
Hence, option B is correct.
