3x+4y=5 i.e. ax+by=k
the expression xmyn(m,n1) will be maximum when (axm)m×(byn)n is maximum & this will be maximum at
axm=byn=ax+bym+n=km+n
(Here a=3,b=4,m=2,n=3,k=5)
3x2=4y3=55
x=23,y=34xy=89 or 9x=8y
Maximum value of x2y3=(23)2(34)3=316
