Tegeticula is commonly known as the yucca moth. The moth cannot complete the life cycle without the yucca plant. They share a mutually beneficial relationship. The seeds of the plant and the eggs of the moth develop together and when the eggs hatch, the larva feed upon the seeds.
Amorphophallus is the plant which very giant and huge inflorescence. The flowers in the inflorescence are responsible for trapping the beetles. The beetles helps in pollination but destroy the plants be eating the pollen. Thus, the flowers trap and kill the beetles and helps the other plants.
