Suppose we have a mixed fraction as: $\text{Whole}\frac{\text{Numerator}}{\text{Denominator}}$,

then its improper fraction is given as: $\frac{\text{Whole}\times \text{Denominator + Numerator}}{\text{Denominator}}$

For $5\frac{6}{7}$, on substituting the values we get:

$5\frac{6}{7}=\frac{(5\times 7)+6}{7}=\frac{35+6}{7}=\frac{41}{7}$
