The correct option is B Water in beaker B is hotter than that in A.
Since the balloon in container B is inflated, we can say that the gas in container B occupies more volume than the gas in container A.
We know that gases expand on heating. This means that at higher temperature, gases occupy more volume.
Hence, we can conclude that the temperature of gas in container B is greater than that of gas in container A.
The temperature of gases in containers is directly dependent on the temperature of water in the beakers. Hence, water in beaker B is hotter than water in beaker A.
