The strength of an acid is determined by its ease to lose a proton I.e H+ ion . If an acid can easily remove proton then it is said to be stronger. In benzoic acid if it lose a proton the left one will be benzoate anion. This is well stabilized by resonance. So benzoic acid have a great tendency to lose a proton.

In ethanoic acid, if it loses a proton, the ethanoate ion formed is not so stable. So ethanoic acid has a lesser tendency to lose a proton compared to benzoic acid. Therefore Benzoic acid is stronger than ethanoic acid.

Hence the correct option is 'B'.
