Question

Both bacteria and yeast reproduce by asexual method but how does this method differ in them?

Solution

Reproduction in bacteria reproduces by binary fission. Bacteria grow to a fixed size and then reproduce through binary fission, a form of asexual reproduction and reproduction of yeast occurs by budding. Here a small bud or daughter cell is formed on the parent cell. The nucleus of the parent cell splits into a daughter nucleus and migrates into a daughter cell. The bud continues to grow until it separates from the parent cell, forming a new cell.
