Question

how do species of two sub-populations becomes two different species?

Open in App
Solution

Isolated species cannot reproduce with each other. The isolation leads to minimize the gene flow between them. After many generations because of genetic drift, different changes accumulate in the isolated species population. Species of isolated populations are selected differently which leads to further differences in populations. So the isolated population becomes more and more different.
