Brian is 5 years older than his sister, Kate. Their mother is 6 times Kate's age and 2 years younger than their father. Find the present age of Brian if their father will be 33 years old the next year.

The correct option is B 10 years
Brian's father's present age = 33 – 1 = 32 years

Brian's mother is 2 years younger than his father.

So, the age of Brian's mother is 32 – 2 = 30 years

Now, we know that Brian's mother is 6 times Kate's age. So, Kate's age is 30 ÷ 6 = 5 years

Present age of Brian = Kate's age + 5 years
= 5 + 5 = 10 years
