We have the relative lowering of vapour pressure

Percentage of lowering pressure =P0BPtP0B×100=xA×100

Moles of octane =weightmolecular weight=114114=1 mole

Now.

(10080)%=20%=x1+x×100

x=0.25 moles

Mass of non-volatile solute =0.25×40=10g
