C2H5OH is 20% by volume i.e. 20 mL of C2H5OH is dissolved in 100 mL of solution.
Volume of H2O=10020=80 mL
Weight of H2O=80×1=80 g (dH2O=1 g/cc)
Weight of solution =100×0.96=96 g
Weight of C2H5OH=9680=16 g
Molecular weight of C2H5OH=12×2+5+16+1=46 g/mol

M=W2×1000Mw2×Vsol=16×100046×100=3.48M

m=W2×1000Mw2×W1=16×100046×80=4.35m
Hence, option B is correct.
