Solution

The correct option is A 0.107
The energy required to melt 1g ice is 33J.

The energy required to melt 10 g ice is 330J.

The radiation frequency is 4.67×1013sec1

The energy of the radiation is E=hν=6.626×1034Js×4.67×1013sec1=3.09×1020J

The number of quanta required is 330J3.09×1020J=1.065×1022=0.107×1023

So, the answer is 0.107.

Option A is correct.
