Natural fibers:

  1. Natural fibers are found in plants and animals.
  2. There are chances that dust or impurities may be present in the fibers.
  3. These are thinner and have less strength when compared with synthetic fibers.
  4. Example- Wool, cotton, jute, silk.

Synthetic fibers:

  1. Synthetic fibers are also known as man-made or artificial fibers and are produced through chemical synthesis.
  2. There is no chance that dust or impurities may be present in the fibers.
  3. They are stronger and more durable fibers than natural fibers.
  4. Example- Nylon, polyester.
