The correct option is A the body A comes to rest and B moves away in the direction of A's approach with the velocity v
Given : m1=m2=m u1=v u2=0 e=1

Let the velocities of A and B be va and vb respectively after the collision.

Using va=(m1em2)u1+(1+e)m2u2m1+m2

va=(m1×m)v+(1+1)m(0)m+mva=0

Using vb=(m2em1)u2+(1+e)m1u1m1+m2

vb=(m1×m)0+(1+1)mvm+mvb=v

Thus body A comes to rest whereas B moves with velocity v in the same direction as that of A initially.
