Steps of Construction:
1. Draw a line segment BC = 4 cm
2. At B , construct ∠PBC=45∘ and from from BP cut an arc radius 3.5 cm. i.e., BA = 3.5 cm.
3. With A and C as centres and radii 4 cm and 5 cm respectively draw two arcs which intersect at point D.
4. Join AD and CD
5 ABCD is the required quadrilateral.
