Construct a rhombus ABCD, given it's one side = 6 cm and $$\angle A\, =\, 60^{\circ}$$


Solution

Step 1: Draw line segment  $$ AB = 6 cm $$.
Step 2: Construct $$ \angle BAX = {60}^{o} $$.
Step 3:  With A as the centre and radius equal to $$ 6 $$ cm , draw an arc
on ray AX.
Step 4:  Mark the point of intersection as D.
Step 5:  With D as the centre and radius equal to 6 cm, draw an arc.
Step 6:  With B as the centre and the same radius, draw another arc such
that it intersects the previous arc at C.
Step 7: Join points C, D and points C, B.
ABCD is the required rhombus.
