Polymers are macromolecules or gaint molecules having high molecular masses formed by combination of a large number of small molecules called monomers and the process by which these simple molecules i.e., monomers combine to form a polymers is called polymerization. Polythene, nylon, bakalite, PVC etc., are the examples of polymers.
