(a). Sol: Solid particles are dispersed in a liquid medium.
Ex- ink, soap solution etc.
(b). Aerosol: Solid or Liquid particles are dispersed in a gaseous medium.
Ex- smoke
(c). Emulsion: A minute droplets of one liquid in dispersed in another liquid which is not miscible with that.
Ex- milk, butter.
(d). Foam: It is a colloid, a gas dispersed in a liquid medium. Example: Soap Suds
