Transformation ration $=$ train value
$=$ pitch of job threads/pitch of lead screw threads
$= 1.0 m m (1 / 4 i n c h) = (1.0 \times 4) / (127 / 5)$
$= 1 \times 4 \times 5 / 127 = 20 / 127$ . (The term $127 / 5$ is used for converting inches into $m m$ ).
