Diagonals LS and BN of rectangle BSNL intersect each other at point K. If KL =7cm, find LS and BN (see fig 5.1)

We know that diagonals of a rectangle are equal and bisect each other.
∴ LS = 2(KL)
= 2(7)
= 14 cm
And,
BN = LS = 14 cm
