Solution

AtomsMolecules
Atom is defined as the smallest particle of an element that does not exist freely in nature but takes part directly in chemical combinations.A molecule is made of atoms bonded together which exist freely in nature but does not participate directly in chemical combinations
An atom of any element is represented by the symbol of that element. For example, a hydrogen atom is represented by H.The molecule of any substance is represented by its molecular formula. For example, the oxygen molecule is represented by O2.
An atom consists of subatomic particles .i,e electrons, protons, and neutrons.Molecules consist of two or more than two atoms which can be either of the same element or of different elements.
