Lawyer is a term used to describe a professional person who is learned in law ,who is authorised to practise law. .In India, the term "lawyer" is often used colloquially that is used for conversation as an informal language.

​​​​​​A corporate lawyer is a lawyer who specialises in corporate law. The role of a company lawyer is to make sure the legality of economic transactions, advising corporations on their legal rights and duties, including the duties and responsibilities of corporate officers.
