Question

Difference of two perfect cubes is $$189$$. If cube root of the smaller of two numbers is $$3$$, find the cube root of the larger number.


Solution

According to the given condition-

$$3^3+189=b^3$$

$$b^3=27+189$$

$$b^3=216$$

$$b=6.$$

Hence, the cube root of a larger number is $$6$$.
