Open in App
Solution

Aquatic adaptations Volant adaptations
Aquatic adaptations allow aquatic animals to survive in water. Volant adaptations allow animals to lead an aerial life.
Fish, whales and dolphins have aquatic adaptations. Birds and bats have volant adaptations.
The body of a fish is compressed laterally to reduce friction and allow it swift passage in the water while swimming. Its fins help it swim. Volant animals have forelimbs that are modified into wings for flying in the air. Bones have air cavities to make the body light.
