Coleoptile-
It is the conical protective sheath which encloses the plumule in a monocot seedIt comes out from the soil, turns green and performs photosynthesis.

coleorhiza-
It is the undifferentiated sheath which encloses the radicle and root cap in a monocot seed.It remains inside the soil and is non-green in colour.
