Differentiate between Hypotonic and Hypertonic solution based on the condition of a plant cell when placed in the solution.

If a plant cell is placed in a hypotonic solution, the cell swells up, i.e. deplasmolysis occurs, whereas if it is placed in a hypertonic solution the cell undergoes plasmolysis and shrinks.
