Polymer which are cross-linked between their chains and cannot be reshaped upon heating known as$\text{Thermosetting Polymer}$.

Example: Bakelite, melamine etc.

Polymers which are mold-able or malleable above a certain temperature and solidifies upon cooling are known as$\text{Thermoplastic Polymer}$.

These polymers can be easily reshaped by heating.

Example: Nylon.
