Question

Directions:- Study the following information carefully to answer the question given below.

(i) There are two children between A and C.

(ii) The adjacent neighbours face opposite sides, except two neighbours.

(iii) If D and E exchange their places E becomes in between A and I.

(iv) H and I are opposite to each other.

(v) G faces outside the triangle while his neighbours face in the opposite directions.

(vi) E is between A and H.

(vii) B and C are at the extreme ends of one of the vertexes of the triangle.

Solution

The correct option is **A** A and D

From information (vii)

From information (viii)

From information (iv)

From (iii) & (vi)

Now only, G is left, so the arrangement will be as follows

From (ii) & (v)

Clearly, A and D face the same direction. Hence, the required answer is (A).
