Solution:

• According to this act middle class poor families are provided food grains at subsidised rates.
• The Antyodaya families are given 35kg of grains free of cost.
• As per the law beneficiaries can buy wheat at rs. 2/kg, rice at rs 3/kg and coarse grains at rs. 1/kg in fixed quantities per month.
• At the time of maternity, the Central Government would pay rs.6000/month as help to the mother.
• As per the act, every month, sugar, iodised salt, kerosene and edible oil are made available in fixed quantities.
• Under this bill an internal complaint preventive mechanism has been set up. Nodal officers are appointed for regulation and over-looking of the grain distribution system.
