Diseases of brain are hard to treat. When a virus or bacterium infects the brain , it is very difficult to treat and it and is visual deadly. For example when the rabies virus infects the brain it kill 99% of all infected patients. Why do you think this is so?

Usually in fatal brain disease, the entire nervous system is affected. As you know, the nervous system has important centre in brain and spine. So in a brain disease, generally nervous system gets infected and since nervous system covers the entire body, the disease has effects on our entire body. It is very difficult to cure such a disease.
