Solution

Antibodies are proteins produced by B-lymphocytes in the body in response to antigens. They are made up of two light chains and two heavy chains. They have inter-chain as well as intra-chain disulfide bonds. The portion of the light and heavy chain which interact with antigens is called antigen-binding site.
