Draw the circuit diagram of n resistors connected in parallel and write the equation for equivalent resistance.

To connect the resistances in parallel all the left end of resistances should be connected to a single point and all the right ends of resistances should also be connected to another single point (as shown in figure) such that voltage difference between all resistance is same and current is different.

Equation for equivalent resistance = $\frac{1}{R_{e}q}$ = $\frac{1}{R_1}$+ $\frac{1}{R_2}$ + $\frac{1}{R_3}$ + $\frac{1}{R_4}$ +............+ $\frac{1}{R_{(}n-1)}$ + $\frac{1}{R_n}$.
