(Round off to the nearest integer)

Open in App
Solution

Draw a line segment AB = 6cm.
Construct an angle of 60 at point B.
Cut off BC = 4cm.
We know that adjacent angle of parallelogram are supplementary then, we construct an angle of 120 at points A and C both angle meet at point D.
Join diagonals AC and BD.
Measure length of diagonals we get,
l(AC)=5.3cm and l(BD)=8.7cm
Sum of length of the diagonals = l(AC)+l(BD)=5.3+8.7=14cm.
