Solution

Steps for constructing 60°
i)
Draw a line segment which will become one side of the angle. The exact length is not important. Label it VS. V will be the angle's vertex.
ii) Set the compasses on V, and set its width to any convenient setting.
iii) Draw an arc across VS and up over above the point V.
iv) Without changing the compasses' width, move the compasses to the point where the arc crosses VS, and make an arc that crosses the first one.
v) Draw a line from V, through the intersection of the two arcs and mark a point K on the line.
vi) Now measure angle SVK with a protractor, so the angle is 60 °.

Steps for constructing 120°

(i)
Use Ruler and draw a Line segment AB of any convenient length.
(ii) Now use compass and open it to any convenient radius. And with A as center , draw an arc which cuts line segment AB at D.
(iii) Use compass and opened to the same radius. And with D as center , draw an arc which cuts first arc at R.
(iv) Use compass and opened to the same radius. And with R as center , draw another arc which cuts first arc at P .
(v) Join BP and extent it to C .
angle CAB = 120°
