Even though insulators conducts a little electricity why do we get a shock when standing in a tiled floor during a lightning even though the tile we are standing on is an insulator.

The amount of charge contained in a lightning bolt is too large and supersedes the insulating property of the tile so as to make it conduct a sufficient amount of current to give us a shock
