Explain, why the valency of the Helium atom is not 2 even when Helium atom has 2 electrons in its valence shell?

He has two electrons in its s orbital and one orbital can accomodate only two electrons so its duplet is complete and has no tendency to gain or lose electrons so its valency is zero.
