Question

Factorize the below equation:
$$\left (3x-2y \right )^{2}+3\left (3x-2y \right )-10$$

A
(3x2y+5)(3x2y2)
loader
B
(x2y+5)(3x2y2)
loader
C
(3xy+5)(3xy2)
loader
D
(x2y+5)(xy2)
loader

Solution

The correct option is B $$\left (3x-2y+5 \right )\left (3x-2y-2 \right )$$
   $$\left ( 3x-2y \right )^{2}+3\left ( 3x-2y \right )-10$$
$$=\left ( 3x-2y \right )^2+5\left ( 3x-2y \right )-2\left ( 3x-2y \right )-10$$
$$=\left ( 3x-2y \right )(\left ( 3x-2y \right )+5)-2(\left ( 3x-2y \right )+5)$$
$$=(\left ( 3x-2y \right )+5)(\left ( 3x-2y \right )-2)$$
