The potential in the space around a point charge is given by V(r)=q4πϵ0rLet a,b,c be the radii of 1,2,3 respectively.

Thus, t1=ba and t2=cb

V1V2=q4πϵ0aq4πϵ0b=qt14πϵ0ab

V2V3=q4πϵ0bq4πϵ0c=qt24πϵ0bc

But V1V2=V2V3

V1V2V2V3=1

t1ab×bct2=1

t1t2=ac

As a<c , we can conclude that t1<t2
